    2. Animals don’t have rights: Something can only have rights if it is capable of comprehending the concept of rights; animals don’t have that faculty; ergo no rights.

    Now, I want to ask, I am NOT a big alcohol drinker, but I do drink on occasions (half a glass of wine is usu what we always have–just wine) is that bad as well?

    As a nutritionist (in training, haven’t finished my clinical hours yet) and vegan I feel that the proportion of legumes, seeds and nuts to grains is a bit low. You should be having about the same number of serves of grains as legumes, nuts and seeds (together) to combine, preferably one of each group in the same meal to form a more complete amino acid profile.

    So you know… a serving of beans is 1/2 a cup. Nuts are 1/4 of a cup. Oatmeal is 1/2 a cup uncooked, and rice is 1/3 of a cup uncooked.
